NEW HOME WARRANTY INSPECTION
Most builders provide a one year warranty for new construction. Prudent buyers will develop a “punch list” of issues for the builder to repair under the warranty coverage. A warranty inspection will provide the “punch list” of items that can be presented to the builder to repair at no cost to you. You can be confident that issues or potential problems are corrected before they grow into much larger issues and costs.
Part of our focus at Leitel & Associates is to alert you, to the extent possible, to unknown and potential environmental hazards in your current or potential property. Our visual, non-invasive inspections can alert you to potential environmental problems. We are certified for:
Asbestos: Asbestos is a health hazard when inhaled into the lungs. Proper precautions must be taken when dealing with this substance to minimize or eliminate the health risk.
Lead: Lead is a highly toxic metal that was commonly used in many products especially in older homes. One of the most common is lead paint.
Radon: Radon is a naturally occurring colorless, odorless gas that is found in soils, rock or water throughout the country. Radon is a health threat when is collects in buildings at concentrated levels.
